RENT. <3
Source: kippedSeasons of Love just gets better and better every time i hear it. definitely in my top five favorite songs of all time :o) BAWW I LOVE THIS SONG. what a lovely cover!
The idea of having a soul-mate is kinda hard to believe.
First off, there’s something like 6 billion people out there. Now statistics isn’t my strong suit, but I’m pretty sure that you have a better chance of holding a winning lottery ticket while being struck by lightning and eatenĀ by a shark than you do of finding that one special person.
Second, what if your soul-mate doesn’t speak your language? It seems like it would be a tad difficult to get to know each other only using “the language of love.”
Or what if it’s a one-way soul-mateship? For example: you see the other person, time slows to a standstill, and you hear a heavenly chorus in the distance; they see a socially inept person who’s awkwardly staring at them. If you need to convince them that you’re worthy of loving, are they really a soul-mate?
Also, if soul-mates are meant to be together, then will any bad things happen in their relationship? Is it “that which doesn’t break us up makes us stronger,” or “if we were meant to be, this wouldn’t be happening”?
Lots of hard-to-answer questions.
But despite all the doubt about it, people still strive and hope that someday they’ll meet that “one special someone.”
It’s in movie after movie, book after book, and I’m pretty sure a huge chunk of songs are about trying to find someone who’s meant for you. For every story about lost love and heartbreak, there’s one to match it about triumphant love and happiness. So there’s gotta be at least some truth to it.
And if you believe in something strong enough, and work for it, what you believe in is bound to happen. After all, it’s mind over matter, isn’t it?

WHO IS THIS KID? He looks like he’s 12, but he can singgggg O_O
It’s been a while since I posted on tumblr….maybe I’ll just make this a monthly thing XD. I’m also not sure what to title this, since I’m not sure what to write, or if it even needs a title…I’ll just give it whatever name I think after after all this typing is done :).
Well. I can talk about smileys :). I use them a LOT. pretty much every text of mine has some sort of face in it. Most common ones: :) XD :D >.< O__O -__-, thought not so much on the last one. It’s hard to text out on my phone :-/ (<- I forgot one). I feel like the messages just sound so cold without them.
For example: “what’s up? :)” is a friendly greeting where the texter is (or seems) genuinely interested in what the textee is doing. But in contrast, a plain “what’s up?” seems like the texter thinks (or knows) something is wrong in the life of the textee. Just my thoughts on the subject.
